ABC Scavenger Hunt
Running out of at-home activities to do with your kids? I love finding activities for my kids that are fun and that make them think. Not to mention one they can all do together!! So this week we put together an ABC Scavenger Hunt to keep them busy on a rainy afternoon.
I had my oldest write out the ABC’s on square scraps of paper. Then we shuffled them all up and divided them between the three kids. Once they all had their cards we set on your mark, get set, go! And they ran through the house to find objects that started with the letter on their cards. I was pretty impressed with some of their finds. I thought X would stump them but X-Box controller for the win!
As you can tell my youngest was pretty proud of all his ABC finds! It was so fun watching them think on their feet and running room to room to find their objects. Here’s a helpful list of ideas to get them started:
